Joan Beaufort is the founder of Rainmaker and a visionary entrepreneur. He launched Rainmaker in 2010, operating as a business unit within La Royale Group – a diversified group of companies he co-founded, operating across industries such as Software, Media, Fintech, Gaming Tech, and Real Estate.
With over 15 years of international experience, Joan has established a strong reputation for his expertise in global digital trends and cross-border business dynamics. He is also deeply connected to his roots by investing in his hometown of Molsheim (Bas-Rhin, France) through restoration projects and local business development. Joan is an alumnus of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and holds an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Edith Souto is the CEO of Rainmaker and a digital marketing expert known for her strong strategic vision and focus on growth. She began her career at Renault as a Direct Marketing and Internal Communication Manager before moving to Porsche. After, as the Country Manager for Spain for Kwanko, she launched and led the Spanish entity and developed new market strategies. Edith then held senior digital roles at Amplexor International (now Acolad), Winning Poker Network, and Bodog, where she drove acquisition and conversion initiatives.
In 2023, she was appointed CEO of Rainmaker. She leverages her deep digital expertise and diverse industry experience to strengthen the company and expand its global presence. Edith holds a master’s degree in marketing, communication, and commercial strategy, specializing in brand management.
